Responding to emergency 999 calls across rural areas for over 20 years, our founder knows all too well the challenges of finding addresses, particularly in the dark. You can help emergency services find you by knowing the What3Words for your home.

In normal circumstances, leaving an outside light on can also really help. However, in a power cut, the absence of any lights compounds the problem of finding addresses. In an emergency, our scene location light can be fixed to any metal surface via magnets in the base (car, gate), hung from a tree or simply placed on a post. It provides a bright 360 degree orange flashing light, which may help emergency services find your home. Particularly useful at the end of long drives.

Telling the emergency service call taker that you have deployed the light will enable the information to be passed to the responding vehicle, so that they know to look for it.

The light is also useful to keep in the car, to provide a roof mounted beacon to improve visibility in case of a breakdown.
