Plug-in Emergency Bulkhead Light

ln the event of a power cut in the evening, you may find yourself plunged into darkness without warning. Our range of emergency lights simply plug into a UK 13A power socket to keep their batteries charged. In the event of a power cut, the light automatically turns on in a fraction of second, to illuminate the way.

This versatile unit has 27x LEDs, providing 160 lumens of bright white light for 3 hours, or until power is restored. N.B. There is no switch to turn the light off.

Power Cut Prepper Evaluation

Using a light meter placed 28cm away, the unit was evaluated in our workshop to establish the brightness of the light emitted over time from a full charge. The graph below shows for each hour passed, the percentage brightness compared to when it was first turned on. Whilst the unit is rated to illuminate for 3 hours, the test demonstrated that it in fact provided light for 6:13 hours, with the light being 40% of its original brightness at the point it turned off. This highlights the unit as being ideal for medium term illumination, with the second best sustained light output.
